10/10~10/12
Final Competition at Taipei Expo Park

The 21st Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival, themed “Black vs. White: Battle of the Kings,” was grandly held from October 10 to 12 at the Yuanshan Park of the Taipei Expo Park. Continuing its proud tradition, this year’s festival once again celebrated Taipei’s signature beef noodle industry, deepening its cultural, culinary, and international significance.
This year’s competition brought together Taiwan’s top beef noodle restaurants and master chefs, competing in four major categories — Braised (Black Series), Clear Broth (White Series), Creative Division, and Ready-to-Eat (Packaged) Division — showcasing a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation.
Beyond the competition, the Taipei International Beef Noodle Carnival Market created an energetic atmosphere for visitors, featuring special sales booths and interactive campaigns such as the “Spend NT$500 to Win Prizes” promotion, effectively boosting public participation and commercial engagement.
Throughout the three-day event, the festival was hosted by Asia’s culinary icon, Chef Steve Chen (陳鴻), who led a series of engaging programs including “Chef Ryu Kyung-Rae Sharing Session,” “Master Chef Talks,” “Taiwan vs. Singapore Cross-National Exchange,” “Senior-Friendly Clear Broth Beef Noodle Demonstration,” “Mini Chef Parent-Child Cooking Experience,” and the “21st Anniversary Beef & Egg Party.” The festival successfully attracted a large crowd, creating a grand culinary celebration that combined gourmet cuisine, cultural exchange, and interactive experiences, solidifying its reputation as one of Taipei’s most anticipated annual food events.
